Since Modern Warfare 2, every episode of Call of Duty broke selling records. It will probably be the case with the last one, Black Ops II, which is the most pre-ordered game ever on GameStop. An accountant of the company says that Treyarch's FPS could make the biggest launch of all time.
Even if this upcoming Call of Duty is harshly criticized by some , the series seems to attract more and more players.

Personally, I think its going to get so hyped up for a massive let down. (i.e Modern Warfare 3) But maybe I'll be wrong and Treyarch wont balls this up and do something awesome. We have to wait and see......

I must say that the game is extremly cool and it makes fun...but that was the only part of cod which is good. the technology and the multiplayer are probably sucking dick. the only good thing will be the zombie mode. zombie mode was always fantastic. i dont know...cod has such a replay effect. you can play it until your brain is totally dead and your ears totally deaf. for 20 bucks its okay but pre ordering is stupid.
I think they pay more for the hype than the development of the game. Hopefully this CoD is different and better from the others, but judging by their previous games I highly doubt it. I do think Treyarch does a better job with CoD than IW does.
Ahh. Reading though it with that in mind does make sense now.

I admit, the CoD games suck, the only recent CoD game I actually own is Modern Warfare 2.
I am genuinely interested in Black Ops II though. I guess it's because of its more futuristic/Sci-Fi approach. I absolutely love science fiction.
Like previous CoD games though, I'll definitely give this a try.

Personally, I'm not even going to bother buying this game, but I would want to try it, just to see how similar it is to Modern Warfare 2.
