Something to do with Rainbow Factory....I guess
So here's a spray that I'm sure people will enjoy (It's the only spray so far that multiple people have noticed/recognize before I release it here). This is taken from Rainbow Dash Presents: Captain Hook the Biker Gorilla (Rainbow Factory).
Now, there are 2 versions of this spray. One has the background from the episode and is 512x256. That's fine, but then we've got another version without the background that is....256x128. Now, here's what's been bugging me for the longest time about this spray, it's only 4 frames long which means at 512x256, it can fit with DXT1, but not DXT5 the limit is 3 frames. There IS an option where I could use DXT1 with one bit alpha and still use up to 5 frames, but the problem is VTFEdit has the worst one bit alpha conversion I've ever seen! This only happens with VTFEdit.
I've tried using the Photoshop DDS plugin and converted a single frame 512x256 DXT1 One Bit Alpha .dds file to a .vtf and it works perfectly fine (I've also included this one and a DXT1 Once Bit Alpha of the animated spray to prove my point), but the problem is (as far as I know) VTFEdit is the ONLY program that can make animated sprays in DXT1 One Bit Alpha format. (Most others use an automatic DXT5 conversion).
So I'll release this in its current state for now, but if anyone can offer a solution to this problem I'm having, I'd really appreciate it!
PS: This is Surprise's very first appearance in GameBanana. Be sure to give her a big welcome!
