A few weeks ago we established contact with the DayZ developer team in order to discuss some features coming in their standalone version of the popular mod. Today we bring you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have for the team!

How to submit your questions:

Simply either post them in the thread below, submit your questions via our twitter page using the hashtag "#AskDayZ" followed by your question, or you can post your questions on our facebook page under the comments section of the DayZ interview post!

I'll be going over all of the submitted questions and picking the best ones to ask the team, so get brainstorming!

    Most likely it'll be "free" to play then suddenly a greedy game maker appears and slaps a fat price tag on the game and or updates......

    The standalone game was never going to be free to play, but rather have a one time purchase; if I remember correctly.

    Just saying thats what happens with some f2p games unfortuantely. But you're probably right and the standalone will be free.

    They have already announced that the standalone will be a cheap amount probably $19.99 but there is no defined price at the moment, Day-Z was a free mod, at the expense of Arma 2 but that is just what Day-Z ran on don't expect it to be free.
