Default new flag d design

well i had an idea for a flag d and i decided to show it here for see what u think.


here i show the way in of the flag d it look kinda easy but in combat with people shootin' at you i thin it will be hard to get in.




here is the way out a simple crouchjump thingy





and this is me showing the way in:
the wiew from the first step

from the second step to the first

from the second to the third

from the third to the inside



and that's all.

Good on maps that cant be jumped in on. All that can be negatted by jumping in from the top.

also, especially on that map, the capper is going to get raped when hes trying to jump in to cap.

decent idea though.

You haven't heard of the design "easy in, hard out"?

It's probably the best way of doing flag defenses.. this way your capper doesn't have to worry about getting killed with the flag, or doing some elaborate jump. He gets in, scores, then decides if he wants to deal with the exit, or just /kill.

It's a nice design, but I think its normally best to avoid trickjump enterances. What if a newer player on your team gets the flag and dosn't have a clue on how to get in or drop the flag? That sort of event has lost the game far to many times to teach me that you need an enterance that anyone can understand.

There's too much of a downside to trickjump entrances. To make them as time consuming as a well built crawl is often difficult, they also give you less control over the shooting conditions as you try to kill your enemy. Most trickjump entrances bank on the fact that the best jumper on the opponents team isn't as good as the average jumper on your team, this just isn't realistic, especially for high skill matches like we will see in league.
