Default Mini updates

As I understand it, just about everything that can be put into cvars is being put into cvars, so...

As such, why not make a system that allows server owners to grab new default cvar lists from the SF site at periodic intervals so as to allow developers to modify things like weapon damages, class health, block health, freeze time, etc without requiring a full update to the game?

This sort of system would allow developers to constantly update the game based on the current demands of the game, without requiring anything of the server owners besides implementation of this system.

Obviously, owners would be allowed to opt out of this, and unfortunately that would mean all servers might not have the same cvar lists. However, the potential advantage in the early stages of the release (where you'll likely find a number of bugs and simple balance issues) of being able to fix the game without a new patch definitely outweighs this problem in my opinion.

just an idea

Hidden: Source did something like this for B4a. It didnt work because it requires servers to constantly visit the primary domain and look for an update and download them. Soo many people ended up not using them that for B4b they had to hardcode everything into the server installer. Trust me, people will end up losing interest in it and it makes this a moot point for implimenting into a game because it will take time to program this kind of flexibility
