Default Invisible Block Lag?

I've been having this problem for quite some time now. And thought I should finally complain. If in spectator mode and I go out the map and then come back in. This will happen:

And I won't be able to move for a good 10 seconds. And they they reappear. It seems to happen when all blocks have lost visibility.

It has nothing to do with my computer specifications as it happens even on all my machines including my highest one which has:

Quote:
- DDR3 3gb RAM
- Quad Core Proccesser
- Nvidia 9800
Any help I would love :3

This seems to be an engine specification. If you go outside of any map, regardless of the game, the models will disappear. All that you'll see is the BSP. I'm not sure about the 10 second lag though.

Yea, it's probably the ridiculous amount of blocks all loading at once that causes the problem.

This happens to me all the time, a work around is spec someone in first person then do the fly cam.

The lag is because your on xexon.

The Source Engine wasn't made to draw 100+ physics objects at once. That is your problem.

Garrysmod does it :\

This seems to happen no matter how many blocks spawned. When I first got on the map it did it when I exited the spawn.

And it's not Xenon as it happens on other servers to.

I have a different problem, which may just be config settings. When specing in first person i can only see the map and objects like explosions and ragdolls, i cannot see blocks or players.
