I apologize for not searching the forums as thoroughly as I probably should have. However I have some misgivings about the Support section in this forum.

You're right, there is a sticky(stickies) for this;
"Valve's Steam not found" and all other installer application errors
This seemed like an appropriate thread for me to visit but this thread does not contain install requirements such as HL2 DM, and the SDK.
"Problem with your Sourceforts Mod? This may help! ( 2008 )"
This one does contain all the information I was looking for and I'm just flat out silly for not reading it. My fault on this one.
"This Steam account does not own this game."
This one does contain the requirements for HL2 DM, and the SDK. Yet I received no such error so I ignored this thread until recently.
You're right people should stop being lazy and search the forums. I must apologize again for not searching thoroughly enough. But it doesn't help the matter when the FAQ links are broken in these threads:
"SourceForts Guides and Tutorials"
"READ FIRST - Help & Support Rules"
The FAQ link in the forum header (next to User CP) does point to a FAQ, but only in regards to the forums. Makes sense, but I was hoping that since the other FAQs didn't work, this one might.
The link to the Sourceforts wiki has no search function and, to my searches, has no information about the installation process.
I'm sure if the time was spent to re-organize your existing information and entering links into common places; you will alleviate any problems that people like me will have in the future. As you said, you get "one of these threads twice a week".
On another note, thank you Mr. Black™ for the information about the HL2 DM giveaway from NVIDIA. Very much appreciated.
