Ok, however take a look on my last WIP, check the model references, keep an eye on my low-poly and hi-poly, as you can see, i deleted those grooves on the magazine of my low-poly, and when you bake it, you have it like the hi-poly.

In black, remove that inset. In green, once the inset is removed, connect those vertex as i did. In red, select all that faces and click autosmooth.
In that way, you can have a nice smooth on rounded shapes,do the same with circle [Ring] selections.

I think it's the smoothing. I think. You best ask a modeller who knows about baking and such.
Hey, if I were you I'd texport the Valtro PM5 of yours and then get someone to texture it.
