Default Tower of Babel

Either a map for any SF or a gameplay mode for SF2 where the goal is to build to a certain height before your opponents do. This is during combat, so your opponents have the opportunity to try and kill you and tear down your tower.

gmod 9 had something like that called build to the top, i really enjoyed that game mode.

thats the gametype that I was saying someone should come up with to make it so the center of the game is building, not the combat phase. (http://sourcefortsmod.com/boards/showthread.php?t=10688)

I had the same exact idea, but I couldn't decide should they build to a neutral point, should they both try to build to the enemies base, should they build to a neutral point and then with a forward spawn they try to build to the enemies base, how would the defensive strategies be worked out on this map? Would you just shoot them down or would you also be able to block their path with your own building making it so teams turtle like hell, what would the blocks health be, etc.

This gametype would definitely make structures such as bunkers and sniper towers (the ramps in themselves would be sniper towers) more useful than they are now. Someone should make a map like that for 193/4 to test out how it would work.

Just start a hugeflatmap game and see who builds the biggest tower till combat.

There needs to be a button at the top of either side that causes the other teams entire floor to fallout like a trap door into a pit the length of a hammer side view :3

And like on surf maps in CSS where you get to a certain point an you see a screen with a view of like the jail, you could do taht so you could see it happening..
