Default driver help

so i recently upgraded from windows 7 x32 to x64 and its all been working fine except for the media bar on my laptop. i cant find drivers for it anywhere on the sony site or on the web.

It looks like that except noticeably less pink and white. Theres no missing devices in device manager and the middle part of the bar works (the av mode) but the sliders for volume or play/pause or forward or back dont work.

can anyone help me?

It seems like Windows installed its own generic media bar driver, which means your device it technically working, but since the driver is so generic, it can't provide as much support as a true driver would. Try uninstalling the driver, and looking for a different x64 bit one.

x64 has a rather odd and horrible driver support IMO. I run it as well, but spend the first couple of hours reinstalling every generic (read: non functional) driver to the one supplied by Toshiba ( I haz toshiba laptop.

Works atm though, pretty good as well if i may say so.

32bit version of win 7 works surprisingly good on my macbook, just missing the multitouch trackpad support and sound/brightness keys
