So here's a little teaser for my new map. I'm planning on making it eye candy, but I'm keeping things simple for now so I can do a beta test to see how the layout is. If it ends up sucking immensly, I'm just going to scrap it and rebuild it over and over again until it works. I've been wanting to do a good desert map like this for a LONG time. So here's some HDR screenies of the basic layout (above ground) and visual aspect of the map. More to come in the next couple of days
Side note: I believe this issue is with the old hl2 engine, but is there a way to fix the split lines in the displacements that show up from a distance? I know it's not just my map, but it's an issue that happens when you back away from the edge of two displacements coming together.
