yeah, me again :P

this time its some kind of nade =] model itself isnt big stuff but some effort flow into the shader this time...

It's basically a different-colored copy of the Green Goblin grenades. Nice modelling though. And I agree about the pin, its visual style is a radical, unpleasant interruption from the rest of the model.

Yeah, the pin is silly.

On real grenades, the pin holds down a lever which acts as the detonator. Removing the pin does not arm the grenade, it simply allows you to arm it by releasing the lever.

It wouldn't make much sense for an arms company to design a grenade that works away from that standard, as people using it would get confused as to why it was blowing up in their hands once they took the safety pin out.

If you didn't have the level you couldn't pull the pin and then threaten people.
