He's saying that it doesn't take much to destroy an unfrozen block. It's a creative idea, but suffers from three detracting arguments: it uses a lot of blocks - while I'm sure you could improve the design to use less, it's still pretty intensive on the block-count, secondly some people don't judder much when on unfrozen blocks, if you know how the block will move, it's less of a hinderance and may even be a benefit, launching the player if they so desire. And finally the previously mentioned point that unfrozen blocks are far more vulnerable to destruction than frozen ones. Most classes can dispose of an unfrozen block in a few clips of ammunition.
