Default Source Fort not in my steam list?

Hello, I just now joined the forums.

I first intalled source fort like a very long a go, perhaps a year of more ago, but I had an error which keep telling me the servers I try to join have different class table.

But yesterday, I re installed Source Forts, and tried to play it, but it was not on my Steam Games list.

Yes, I DO have HL2: DM and Source thing (Whatever it was called, I forgot lol), so I doubt THAT's the problem. I am DLing a file that was posted on a thread I read earlier in this forum (help/ support), but I have a feeling it won't work....

Install Sourceforts 192. Copy the 193 files over the 192 files. You're good to go.

If it's not showing, you probably don't have HL2.

(And it's Source SDK Base, check it's that. You might have installed Source SDK instead/ :P)

I realize this'll seem obvious, but it's a common mistake. Have you restarted steam since you installed SF? 3rd party mods won't show up until you do.

If you don't have a folder called "Sourceforts" in your (DriveLetter):/ProgramFiles/Steam/Steamapps/Sourcemods/ directory, some thing is wrong.

I got it to work by installing some other files posted on this forum.

I'm starting to get a hang of the game, but it is still kind of challenging

Remember to check other threads to see if the answer to your problem is there. I posted a thread about this 2 days ago. ( http://www.sourcefortsmod.com/boards...ad.php?t=10620 ).Anyway - becoming good at the game takes time .. dont worry if it takes you a while to get the hang of it.
