Ah I just received reports from a few users that "Norton 2010" is reporting this as a "Medium risk".
I tried it myself, and it gets detected as:
WS.reputation.1
Which you can read about here:
http://www.symantec.com/security_res...051308-1854-99
Norton doesn't actually find any malware in the file, but it reports it because:
a) It is downloaded from an unknown/unpopular site (xsgaming)
b) The file has been used by less than 5 Norton users
c) Might be because its compressed by the NSIS compiler, not sure.
Anyway, I can confirm it is definitely NOT a virus.
If you still are suspicious/don't trust me, I understand completely:
-You can run it in a sandbox/honeypot machine and check everything it does - outgoing connections, etc/ there should be none
-I can give you the entire source to the installer, as well as all files you need, so you can check through them and compile it yourself. You will get exactly the same file as i posted here (you can check the file hash to be sure).
Thank you "Damage" for pointing this issue out : )
