I get this when I start up Source Forts, I see the screen for a second then it crashes. I have reinstalled it 4 times and downloaded it from 2 different browsers, I also tried the fix in the sticky but that didn't work, help?

it seems there is an error in the form of your plate

i do not see how downloading from different browsers hasn't fixed this

I got that error running sf in wine once...

I discovered that if I used the launch option to force SF to start in windowed mode, it didn't error.

Does the same thing in windowed mode. Does this game use HL2DM Models? Maybe I shoulld reinstall that?

you need to play HL2: DM at least once before playing SF

Went to run DM and it gave me the same error, reinstall DM?

If DeathMatch isn't working, SourceForts doesn't really have a chance, considering it's built upon that game.

I've had similar things happen upon reinstalling steam and hl2 etc. Run HL2 first, then try SF. Worked for me.
