hey , i am new to the game and i just installed but when i restart steam it still wont show the game on my list, did i screw up or something? Help appreciated

yea i have , ive done everything right i believe

It won't show up on your list if you have HL2M but not Source SDK, like if you used the ATI or NVIDIA graphic card offers.
