Default HL2 error XP 64bit

Hello, i run forts on xp 64bit and get an error that says hl2 has accord a porblem and need to close...

so i followed the guide "Problem with your Sourceforts Mod? This may help! (200"
and use the step #7 since #6 was ver 1.9.3 i think it was anyway and when i did step #7 i got another problem that says i got the wrong version when i try to connect... Please update this guide...

Well anyway dose any1 know what i can do to solve my problem?

So, if i download the latest ver, i don't get the problem "hls have accord a problem and need to close" cine that is my problem not that i can't connect to servers... the server thing can be fixed by reinstall... try to do #7 in that guide ur own and u will get the same problem about the servers

You saying my 1000W PSU don't deliver the power my computer need?
That is just sick since the stuffs in it is 1 years old... Or not my PSU that one is 1 month old. Corsair 1000w...
That will deliver much more than my computer really need...

are you sure the cooling is adequate?

perhaps you are providing sf with too much power
