I recently reinstalled steam and all my games, now when I connect to a server with a map I don't have it will not download it and just shows an error saying "missing map blah blah"

u verify u have the newest version of the game?

Check your maps folder... do you have the map..?

perhaps the server switched download off

or .. if textures or sound are missing : there is no *.res file

This is with all games (That I've tried) and all servers , I used to be able to download maps from the server automaticly but now it doesn't even try and download it.

"cl_download filter "nosounds"

But it doesn't work with all "all" either.
