No, we are working on a new version of the game. That isn't the problem.

If you're so bent on playing the current version, then get your own server up, advertise to your friends, make a post here saying you have people playing to attract the people that come here, and make your own posts on reddit/moddb. We aren't going to do it for you as we are to the point where we acknowledge that the game is more or less dead, especially considering most of the people we know that played it no longer care.

You are the ones that still care about 1.9x, you should be the ones attracting people. Yes, we can accommodate you and a few people (even myself) wouldn't mind helping should there be a massive jolt in popularity, however this isn't the case at the moment.

In general, posting a thread here is a good idea for the occasional game. Unique threads should be made to encourage people to play on a certain date at this point, though. Like, instead of the random post two weeks ago in the middle of this thread saying "I'm encouraging everyone to play @ 3/17/2012!", make your own thread to attract people and include a specific date in the title.
