I figured that since addressing and answering community concerns is my job, I should probably stop just repeating myself and try to get to the source of this problem. Several community members here seem to have started what I can only rightly describe as a revenge campaign against SF in light of the fruition of this whole leak drama. Basically I just want a rational. I want to know what people believe they are now accomplishing. I find is utterly perplexing that people are laying blame on the leaker's for delaying SF development, which most devs here will tell you is just about entirely untrue, and they now have begun to participate in the same guerrilla tactics that they condemned in the leaker's in the first place. We had today several people impersonating known figures involved in the leak, a development member, and pro leak proponents from the forums in a public server, where they proceeded to grief as a clan activity to the point where server admins were reporting their actions in our public IRC channel. I don't see the point in creating smurf accounts to sway our poll results. I don't see the point of the constant personal attacks back and forth.

That is why I'm asking, what do you want from us? The leakers had an agenda, and they were able to prove to the powers that be that their agenda was valid and honorable. I want to ask the recent dramatists if they can do the same. Can the people who are dissatisfied with the current situation produce valid and plausible options for easing it?

I understand the actions of people like KG, generally disenchanted with the way things turned out originally, and now more reserved to what the future holds, but this current stuff is just stupid. One gets the impression that there are members here who would rather this mod have no future now.

One of the things the past SF team regularly did wrong, is whenever an issue like this rose they failed to extend an olive branch. I'm extending that branch now, because I honestly believe everyone deserves input on this process, not just the leakers, not just the devs, not just the old community, and not just those who know our little community meme's already. I'm asking once again. What do you want? Stop kicking and screaming for a second and let's talk rationally about the options we have here.

Anyway, as far as what I want is 1.9.3 to see light! Seems promising with Haza, he must be new to me, or gone for a long time. But I made a suggestion in his thread and a few hrs later he was demonstrating it on youtube. Is he our savior?

Proponent: supporter of a particular cause or idea.

I'm also obviously very interested in finding out what the reasons for the backlash are. If people wish to demand "answers" from those who leaked, I believe it also works in reverse.
