The actual building component was horrificly frustrating as well in terms of the map layout, which is somethign porters need to think about.

Also have to remember that the building element in our alpha build didn't have the checkpoint building system. Well, it had the checkpoints, just didn't affect build at all, and so building was exactly the same as building in combat for 19x.

Then again, it sitll worked. More or less.

What do you guys think about TF2 map gravelpit? I like it, and could make it...would it fit with 2.0?

Possible, but the actual capture points would need to be redesigned slightly to make blocking with a single wall eaisier.

I'm not saying it didn't work, but I think in a complete version of the game it would make for a very mediocre map. All I'm saying is that original content designed specifically for the game will most likely go a lot further than ports from similar games.
