Default RL Photoshop

It's freaking hard:

Scanner is crappy (the lines) and small so had to stitch 3 parts together (the blurry)

C&C faggots.

Thanks for the feedback, what does subtracting more texture mean?

Blending colors was tough, a combo of never working with paint before + plein air + absurdly fast drying acrylics made it tricky. I had a really nice sky color and painted about 70% before my paint ran out, I tried to get the same color again but failed so I had to repaint the whole thing that background blue/gray.

Also: Here's the scene I was painting:

It looks like it has alot of texture from the brush but the acrylics would definatly contribute to it as well. I think you're off to a great start tbh.

did you take the picture yourself? it looks like the camera did autoexposure for the strip of sunlight on the horizon instead of the shore and water, making the scene look really dim/gray.

Nope, brother took a snapshot using his cell. That said, it was actually pretty dim and gray day, had been overcast the whole week.
