SF 2-2 Cup Server - I Need ID's

Right ive got a server for the 2-2 Cup and I think everyone in the cup should be allowed admin, if I think they aren't complete twats that is =p. Just post your ids and that's it, no need for loads of detail. If you get knocked out I will remove your admins and if you abuse I will remove aswell, HF.

Time to organise some 2on2 cup!

Anyway, you can either choose your own 2 man team or you can put yourself in a pool of players who need a 2nd and I will randomly assign teams for you if you cannot find a 2nd yourself.

We will just use the SF 1on1 Cup Steam group for ease later on.

Please post interest/suggestions or your team if you want to join :).

RULES

- 2on2 Straight Knock-out Cup.

- Classlimit 1.

- Capture the flag with prebuilds.

- 1 Build and 1 Combat phase.

- 5 minutes build in which time you may change the prebuilds in anyway you wish.

- 15 minutes straight combat time

- 1 Week Deadlines, beginning Monday 7th.

- If a Team does not show up within 15 minutes of the arranged time default win will be given to the other team WITHIN REASON (If you can play on another date do so, however if playing on another date is not possible default will be given to the waiting team.)

- Win Conditions:

- Winner is team with most points (captures/touches) at the end of the combat phase concidering the following rule:

- If neither team has capped within the 15 minutes, or the score is tied, the time will be extended untill the first team CAPS at which point they will be the winners.

- Maps (assuming 16 team table):

- Round 1: Astrodome w/ Soup's 18 block prebuild.
- Round 2: Skywalk w/ Billbob's 24 bl prebuild.
- Round 3: Overload w/ standard prebuild however teams must choose 4 blocks to freeze above spawn.
- 1st/2nd + 3rd/4th Playoffs: Overload + Skywalk w/ Astro for playoff round.

Hey guys ive manged to get a free dedi and i chose to make it the "SF 1-1 Engi Cup Server"
But tbh i dutn know how to run it =P so who can for me??

SF 1on1 Engineer Cup

I am up for organising a 1on1 engineer fun cup, along with nait0r. We have spoken to some people and most seem generally interested in taking part. An outline of rules/what would happen:

RULES:

- 1on1 Straight Knock-out Cup.

- Engineer class only.

- First to 30 kills.

- In the event of a Euro/US game, Players can either agree to use a US or UK server for first to 30 kills, or can choose to play 7.5 minutes on each server, accumulating the score from both games into a final total which will decide the winner.

- In the event of a disagreement over colour, a stun stick round will decide who chooses (First to 1 kill, engineer class).

- To be played on Waters' map (with help from Arena, Skorpz and Draken in editing it) for first 2 rounds, followed by astrodome (togglephase twice after every kill) for rounds 3/4 and Waters' map again for the Final. Waters' map is attached at the bottom to download

- Each Round will have 3 day deadlines (May be adjusted later on in the cup).

- Starting matches will be randomly assigned, but players must organise their own games.

- If one player cannot play within the time period the other will receive a default win (However we may adjust the deadline period depending on how it works for first round).

- If neither player shows interest in playing a particular game, it will be a coin flip decision for the winner.

- To submit scores, please post them in the cup results post in the Competitive Matches sub forum. Screenshots will be required as proof of win (with 2 Screenshots for US/Euro games).

- If any disagreements occur/you cannot contact the other player please contact me though the steam group.

iDC, reborn :)

Came back to sf a lil while ago and also want to get the scene a bit more going again so I decided to raise iDC again and offcourse for the people that know me as a mapper I'm also into mapping again so expect something to pop out soon enough.

Why doesn't someone make a money tournament, like very team that enters pays �5 and then the winner gets 50% and the guy who set it up gets the other 50%? Or a diff percentage or diferent price but yeah people would go for it no?

I miss...

...friendly/unfriendly rivalries with other teams.

...3 Suverin vs. 8 Zendeath.

...Rivalries with other Soldiers; Scatman, Tobel, Dana, Kas, Kanrook. Getting bested by other midfielders always made me want to be 20x better at SF.

...jumping online to see which poor bastards were around to challenge my Suverin teammates.

...Shooting cappers just enough to take rocketjumping away from them, and then changing targets.

...STUNSTICKS FRAGS, and the countless times I've gotten gready and gone for the stunstick too early.

...bunnyhopping my way up the spawn ramp on sf_skywalk and always being the first one to the midfield, with 10 bullets ready for the face of first gravnader I saw.

...English accents on ventrilo.

Yet again, this is a challenge for Suverin, bE just wants a good game, something challenging, whatever you will.

Two maps (Overload - Skywalk)
35 blocks
Normal scrim rules (no exploits, etc)

We've asked for a year and you've denied every challenge, we don't want 3v3's or 2v2's

Only 5v5.

Surely you can scrim us like you promised us you would in the summer, there's no school holding you back now.

New Ladder Outline

Features

Ability to create clans and join existing clans.
Clan leaders can invite members and boot existing members.
Clan leaders can challenge other clans who are in their ladder.
Each clan has its own page with wins/losses, a member list, and an image.
Each member can leave or join a clan. Joining must be approved by clan leaders.
Each member can set a Steam ID. (based on forum accounts)
Each clan can join one ladder at a time.
Clans can leave ladders but will lose their record.

Ladders

Each ladder will be based on a point system. If a clan beats a team above them, they receive two points. If the clan beats a team below them, they receive one point. A tie will result in no points. Ladders will last a designated time, allowing for one match per week. Tis will be a hard coded limit, not a recommendation. Clans who do not take advantage of the one match per week system will be only hurting themselves.
