Joint Legislative Salmon
Industry Task Force

The Alaska Joint Legislative Salmon Industry Task Force worked to pass thirteen legislative measures from 2002 to 2004.

UFA helped with outreach mailings to all fishermen, collating fishermen’s comments, typing handwritten input, and hosting this task force website with public comments, meeting materials, and legislation. We agreed at the closing of the task force to continue to host the website as an archive of the work that was done. We thank the commissioners, legislative staff and fishermen who contributed in this effort.
