Description:
The Oklahoma Community Institute was created in 1995 as a result of a recommendation in Oklahoma’s 5-year economic development plan to focus on providing assistance to communities that want to help themselves. Our mission is “to be a catalyst that enables and encourages Oklahoma citizens to improve their communities." To achieve this mission, OCI provides two areas of focus: Community-wide Strategic Planning and the Oklahoma Citizens Academy.
