Oklahoma ABLE Tech is a statewide assistive technology program located at the Seretean Wellness Center at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. Oklahoma ABLE Tech's mission is to improve access to and acquisition of assistive technology (AT) for individuals with disabilities of all ages through comprehensive, statewide programs that are consumer responsive. A tremendous variety of assistive technology is available today. Oklahoma ABLE Tech is a way to connect Oklahomans with disabilities to AT through demonstrations and short-term loans to allow individuals to try and compare a variety of devices to find the best fit.

The Oklahoma State Legislature adopted the Oklahoma Abstractor’s Law (Title 1) January 1, 2008, which directs the Oklahoma Abstractors Board to regulate Oklahoma’s abstract industry. The office of the Oklahoma Abstractors Board (OAB) employs an Executive Director, Inspector and Administrative Assistant to staff the Board office. The Board issues Certificates of Authority, individual abstractor licenses as well as Permits to Develop Abstract Plants. In addition, the Board offers testing bi-monthly to individuals seeking their abstract licenses.

The TABC is responsible for the enforcement and regulation of all phases of the alcoholic beverage industry in the State of Tennessee. The TABC was created by the state legislature in 1963 to ensure the safety of the citizens of the State of Tennessee as that relates to the responsible sale and service of alcoholic beverages while maintaining balanced competition among licensees. In addition to the enforcement of all laws related to the liquor industry, the TABC has the authority to police the illegal manufacture, delivery, sale, and possession of marijuana and also, when requested, assists other local and state law enforcement agencies with investigations.

The museum and its associated educational programs provide training opportunities for students in the Museum Studies Graduate Certificate Program. The museum has recently renewed a program of scientific investigation at Chucalissa through the reexamination of previous excavations to develop refined stratigraphic control of the site and to obtain organic samples for AMS dating analysis. The Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority (OCIA) was created in 1959 to provide bond funding for the construction of office buildings and other infrastructure support for various departments and agencies of the State of Oklahoma, particularly those currently leasing office space. During its history, the Authority has funded numerous building and infrastructure improvements, including projects benefiting many state agencies, state colleges and universities, correctional facilities, and highway improvements. The Authority issues Revenue Bonds backed by lease agreements with the various state entities. Upon extinguishment of the bond debt, the improvements remain the property of the Authority or become the property of the state entity leasing the improvement. The Authority also currently operates several state office buildings for the benefit of state agencies.

The Department of Children's Services responds to over 37,000 reports of child abuse and neglect a year and is responsible for providing temporary care or foster care for many of these children. Hundreds of children are in the guardianship of the State of Tennessee. The Department can find them foster homes, group homes and other residential settings as well as helps to find permanent placement for children through adoption services. The Tennessee Department of Children's Services Division of Juvenile Justice also serves children who have been committed to the Department by the juvenile courts for delinquent offenses.

The mission of the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology is to safeguard and protect the health and general welfare of the people of the state of Oklahoma by performing a variety of services from developing curriculum for cosmetology schools to administering examinations for prospective practitioners of the cosmetology arts. The Board of Cosmetology licenses and regulates the profession of cosmetology, esthetics, manicuring, instructors and establishments where these services are performed. It also regulates health and safety issues in schools approved by the Board.
