Resources
Overview
The Mayo Clinic CTSA supports a wide range of consultative resources, facilities and funding opportunities related to clinical research.
Clinical Research Unit
The Clinical Research Unit (CRU) offers investigators physical facilities in which to conduct patient-oriented research. With a facility in each of Mayo's two hospitals, plus mobile staff and a unique research vehicle, the CRU supports more than 400 inpatient and outpatient research studies each year.
Laboratories
The CTSA supports 10 shared/core laboratories, which offer specialty services and expertise in areas from autonomic physiology to body composition to metabolomics. These laboratories continually add and develop new technologies and techniques to meet the evolving needs of Mayo investigators.
Consultative resources
Consultative resources are located on the third floor of the Plummer Building and are available at no cost to all Mayo Clinic investigators. Get assistance with biostatistics, epidemiology and research design; research volunteer recruitment; REDCap data management tools; research ethics; and more.
Funding opportunities
Several funding opportunities — made possible by CTSA funds — are available to both junior and established Mayo Clinic investigators.
