This Day in NC History

There’s a new link on our homepage. “This Day in North Carolina History” tells North Carolina’s story every day. The show is a production of the NC Department of Cultural Resources. Thanks to a generous offer by the department the library is now getting MP3 audio files that are produced by the North Carolina News Network, as they are made available. They include brief essays about state leaders, artists, important dates and historical happenings.

Check back on our homepage regularly to listen to new stories from around the state.
