Iran Human Rights, October 22: According to reports from Iran, Saeed Sedighi and nine other prisoners were hanged in Tehran’s Evin Prison early this morning. Iran Human Rights (IHR) strongly condemns today’s executions. IHR calls these executions "unlawful" because reports indicate that the prisoners had confessed under torture and were sentenced to death in sham trials each one lasting less than 30 minutes. The families of these prisoners have been told to visit their death row family members for the last time today. Iran Human rights, October 18: Two prisoners were hanged in the Shahroud Prison (northern Iran) early this morning. According to the official website of the Iranian Judiciary in the province of Semnan, the prisoners were identified as "A. A." , charged with trafficking more than 3,975 kilograms, and "M. The prisoners were reportedly convicted of drug-related charges.
