The Iowa Museum Association will honor
Willard "Sandy" Boyd with its inaugural Leadership Award on October 22. Boyd is founder of the Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center and president emeritus of the University of Iowa.

The Iowa Nonprofit Employee Benefits Survey 2012 has been released. The Employee Benefits Committee of the Governor's Nonprofit Project conducted the survey this summer. Read the survey report. Read the survey questions and breakdown of responses.

Nominations are open for the
Iowa Volunteer Hall of Fame. Each year the Iowa Commission on Volunteer Service invites nominations for this prestigious state-level honor. Nominations must be postmarked by November 9.

second in the country in volunteerism with 37.9 percent of Iowans devoting
time to help others. The

Service cited the 2010 ranking upon release of a report by the Corporation for National
