To All New and Returning Graduate Students --

Welcome to the Graduate Student Senate at The University of Iowa!

The site is designed to keep The University of Iowa community up to date with our activities, events, meetings, and membership. Here are some highlights and things we've been up to:

• The Event Calendar is the best place to find information about events going on for graduate students.   We'll put all GSS related events on there, but we also want to include other events that may be of interest to graduate students.  If you know of an event, contact us with the details and the event will be added!

• We're trying to increase the photos we have in our gallery. We've posted the few we could find from a collection of years. If you have any to be displayed, please send them to the webmaster with a brief description!

• Legislative Committee:  The newest committee in GSS is looking for graduate students interested in participating in University political affairs at the local, state and national levels. If you would like to dip your toes into political action contact us -- we would love to have you!
