Person of Interest
The crazy keeps on coming! Redfrypan sends this fine still from Person of Interest, as broadcast on German TV. Once again I’ve brightened it a little to make the crazy clearer. Those crazies sure like their atmospheric gloom.

A fine example of a pretty crazy wall (well, crazy bookshelves) from the movie Twelve Monkeys, submitted by Paul Mison. I’ve tweaked the image to bring forth the madness from the movie’s atmospheric gloom.
The Next Three Days
What is it about Russell Crowe and crazy walls? There is, of course, A Beautiful Mind, and also the mild craziness on show in American Gangster. And now Charlotte Mouncey has alerted me to this shot from The Next Three Days, also featuring Mr Crowe. One wonders what the inside of his own home looks like…
Bron / Broen / The Bridge
Sometimes crazy walls are so crazy they fly right past the classic frenzied, messy papering and end up in the all-too-scary realm of the overly-logical and ruthlessly organised. Here we see a fine monochromatic example of methodical craziness from the lair of the evil genius in the Danish/Swedish TV series The Bridge.
American Gangster
Thanks to Clay Parker Jones for this crazy wall from American Gangster. It doesn’t look super crazy from this shot but I think I can maybe make out some red string on that map in the background… the signs are there!
Homeland
My thanks to Matthew Carlin for this submission from the TV show Homeland. Carrie Mathison shows her crazy (possibly, I’m lead to understand, clinically crazy) craziness, in hoping a huge wall of colour-coordinated paper will help her combat TERROR.

From the film Temple Grandin, a fine example and, as with A Beautiful Mind, I wonder if any of this trope is drawn from the docudrama’s factual basis or if it’s just lazy art-direction-shorthand. Let me guess.
