THought you would enjoy seeing this slide show from Chronicle. Mentions the Hatcher (Al Hatcher) Building, and the old power plant, new art buildings and a building designed by Gehry. Most of this I haven't seen before, although we frequently did sketch sessions at the power plant. It was right across the street from my kindergarten classmate's (Audrey McQueen) parents' Dairy Queen.
I always thought it was funny that the McQueens owned the Dairy Queen. She was one envied little girl by all of us. xoxo - G
