The California Dream Team Alliance, allies, unions and immigrant rights groups continue the fight for the passage of AB131, the second half of the California Dream Act. Stand up, speak out, demand equal access to education for all! 

AB131 continues to sit in the suspense file in the Senate Appropriations Committee. We have a short window to make sure AB131 gets out of the committee and arrives to the Senate floor and the Governors desk. With the help from everyone we can make this happen. Come out and demand to the Appropriations Committee to move AB131 forward. 

Bring banners, noise makers, signs and all of those who support the fight for equal education.

Dear California Dreamers,

Our courage to come out as "Undocumented and Unafraid" has inspired not only undocumented students across the nation to speak out, but also inspired allies and supporters to join us in this struggle.

We want to share with legislators and the rest of the state who we are. Wether we are advocating for the Dream Act or against anti immigrant legislation people need to know who we are. This is why California Dream Team Alliance asks each and everyone of you to share your stories with the people that make the decisions in this state. Even if you are not in college please share your story with us we want to know your struggle!

We ask you to send us a brief story about you as well as a picture.

The guidelines are simple:

* Share your name, (or a pseudo name if you don’t feel comfortable sharing your own)
* What are your goals and dreams?
* ATTACH a picture of yourself.


For example:

“My name is Norma Perez and I am attending University of California, Davis. I am majoring in Biology and I want one day obtain my masters degree in Public Health and give back to my community by providing health education.”
