No Political Prisoner Left Behind

Despite some welcome political changes in Burma, hundreds of political prisoners remain in jail, including Tun Aung, a respected community leader who has been arrested and jailed unlawfully by the military-backed government in Burma.

The international community must not forget those political prisoners still left behind in Burma’s jails.

Take action now.

Refugees in camps on the Thailand Burma border and those hiding in the jungle are facing cuts in rations and shelter.

At her Nobel Peace Prize speech, Aung San Suu Kyi called on governments to increase funding for refugees from Burma. The British government should respond to her call and increase aid.
