Forum: forums Subject: Delete a blog I lost access to

I blogged for several years. When I took a job as a civil servant, I was asked to stop blogging, and did so, deleting the blog. However, the deleted blog is still showing up in way back searches, which my employers regard as unsatisfactory.

I deleted the blog, so cannot access it via the blogger control panel to add the robots file myself. I attempted to set up a “new” blog under the old name to try and add the robots file that way, but blogger will not let me register a blog name that has been deleted. Had I been able to do this myself I would not make this request, however I cannot do so, so must ask you to do it for me.

My reasons for wanting this removed are mostly professional, but also personal, as I no longer believe some of the things I blogged about.

Could you please tell me how the blog could/would be removed, because this is important.

Thank you for your reply. How would I go about deindexing a site?
