Titling RSS feed search results |
Thank you for enabling RSS feeds for search results. This feature makes it trivial to subscribe to audio feeds within iTunes. I would like to be able to better distinguish the feeds by giving the search result a unique title. Currently, all search results have the title "Internet Archive". Does there exist a parameter to add to the search URL that titles the feed?
For example, here is my feed for "Politics and Prose" (book store)
http://archive.org/services/collection-rss.php?query=creator%3A%22Politics%20and%20Prose%22&sort=-publicdate

Re: Titling RSS feed search results |
yes, if you had a collection it would read "Internet Archive Collection:Politics and Prose. Because you have 0ver 50 items pages created you are eligible for a collection. end a request for a collection to info@archive.org. To have a collection created also include the following:
1. The email address(es) of the account(s) that uploaded the content
2. the name and a brief description (to be used on your collection page) of your organization and/or the material housed in the collection.
3. the logo you would like to display in the upper right hand corner of the collection page and items. we use 72p x up to 300p jpg. we can resize and existing one if needed.
4. the archive.org account email address(es) that you would like to have administrative privileges for this collection (these addresses will be able to upload directly to the collection as well as edit information about the collection).
thanks.
