thanks. on edit->"change the files in my item", i still get "Item does not have metadata.". i'd like to rename one of the files, is something still missing?

unfortunately no ... different machine, same problem: "Item does not have metadata."

i'm unable to duplicate the problem. i can access the metadata with no issues. be sure you are logged into the correct account.

yes, i can access the metadata (via `change the information'), but i cannot `change the files' (to rename a file)

metadata editor works, item manager works. `checkout -- edit item's files' doesn't work.

same behavior for two machines
