Nazi propaganda |
I'm not familiar with this website (yet) but found this video:
http://archive.org/details/LeJuifSussVostfrIt's a video of nazi propaganda and has no business being public on the internet. Please remove it or remove at least the comment posted with it that is just as much nazi propaganda than the video is. And while the video has an historical interest, the comment does not and is only illegal content, with no added value.

Re: Nazi propaganda |
Every open source movie has a business being on the Internet, even movies you don't agree with. That's why it's called learning! Condemn the movie on its merits or message, not the free speech. This is 'Merica, Bud...we don't ban speech just because it's offensive. Your suggested practice only flies in Europe and Canada and totalitarian regimes (think Russia and China, et al). Thanks.

Re: Nazi propaganda |
Actually, I'm perfectly fine with the movie being on internet, when I think about it. I'm just not fine with the comment posted with it. The comment is not an historical document, it's just offensive to jewish people. Please consider letting the movie online but removing the comment that goes with it.

Re: Nazi propaganda |
I agree there's a difference between allowing current/historical art to exist for educational purposes (hateful or not), and giving certain groups another platform for their social ideals. Yes, if the comments are offensive, this isn't the place for them. Folks should go elsewhere on the Internet to openly discuss the merits (and absolute folly) of racism--this isn't the place.

Re: Nazi propaganda |
I have just asked my wife her opinion about this. She had aunts and uncles murdered by lowlife nazis, so she knows best. She said this is a part of history and the film should be left available.
My feeling is that it’s good to know there are still such idiots out there. Did all the spies and saboteurs really just go away after the war, or did they get government jobs and start to dismantle things from the inside?
