I have a question about posting old family photos on archive.org. They are from the 1930s and earlier. I am wondering what is the policy for this in terms of:

1. Does archive.org permit personal photos to be posted?

2. What are the copy right issues for photos? I cannot guarantee every photo in a photo album was taken by my grandfather.

3. Do I as a direct heir of my grandfather have the rights to post his materials on the site?

Thanks

you can post personal photos. archive.org does not comment on questions 2 or 3.
