hi. first, thanks for your contribution. you did the right think in adding the link to archive.org on the openlibrary page. generally the "Read" link is reserved for books uploaded by archive.org that have a MARC record. and just so you know, it appears you added the pdf file after the item was originally created. automatic derives to other formats happen only when the item is first created. i started a new derive task so that other formats will be derived from the pdf.

thanks for using archive.org and openlibrary.org.

Thanks for your friendly and speedy response, and for fixing my mistake! After how long would you expect until the other formats are derived?

should be done today depending on the work load. btw, you can log in, go to the item at http://archive.org/details/NoaaInTheCarribeanNewsletterVol1 and click "History" where if you click on the derive task ID you can see its progress.

Also, I realized that when I search Open Library for this post it cannot find it. What am I doing wrong? Does it just take some time?

the search engine is undergoing some work. typically it should be in the search engine in about 15 minutes.

the item is finished deriving http://archive.org/details/NoaaInTheCarribeanNewsletterVol1

You have been most helpful! If I could contact you directly with my further questions that might be easier but I have a feeling with the nature of this forum you'd rather me stick here.

I'm with a government organization and we were wondering if it's possible to make an account with multiple users so more people could add our documents. Is there a way to do that?
