The Internet Archive is now sending out announcements of upcoming events as well as a newsletter. If you would like to receive them via email you can change your account settings.

To sign up:

Click the Patron Info link in the navigation bar on archive.org which takes you to http://archive.org/account/login.changepw.php

In "Change Your Account Settings" enter your password and click the "Verify" button

In "Change Announcement Settings" section select from:
• Send me general announcement emails from archive.org
(approx. one per month)
• Send me announcements about San Francisco bay area archive.org events and click the "Change Announcement Settings" button

That's it. The first "News from the Internet Archive" newsletter can be found at http://blog.archive.org/2012/06/18/news-from-the-internet-archive-0001/
