both those items are read only at the moment. when the servers are back online (usually within 24 hours) you will be able to write to them. sorry for the inconvenience.

Seems to me to be a very widespread problem. I've seen the same issues with 2 more postings I've done.
I hesitate to upload any more at this point until the issue (and there is surely one, this is not an isolated incident) is fixed.

Yeah I have also had the problem with multiple items and can't even get to the point of checking an item in. It takes forever for the identifier arguments to finish. Once I hit submit I just get the please wait with the blue bar going across and it never gets to the page where I can add it to a collection. I even left one running overnight. When I go back in and try to pull it up by the identifier it takes me to the page to add it to a collection but then when I select a collection and hit submit I get a message of: The item you are trying to edit cannot be retrieved from a "primary US node".
Potential reasons for problem:
a temporary item location failure
the identifier supplied may be invalid or references a removed resource
the item may be in the process of being edited

Yes, I'm seeing all of the above -- problems with check-ins, unable to edit, takes forever to get identifier assignments, unable to edit recent uploads, PLUS I had one upload that snuck through yesterday but I cannot get the track titles or band name to "stick".
One of my uploads took nearly 12 hours of waiting before it finally finished checking in but now I can't add the details.
This is major major major

same to all. I finally got an item checked in and was able to do a partial details edit but derive job didn't do squat either.

I'm quite sure it has that yellow line that says "server readonly -- tasks waiting for harddrive fix" on EVERY archive posting's catalog page. Look at your older stuff -- it's there too....It's just an informational line on the page so you could know what a yellow task means

Is there an email list I can sign up for to get notifications when the servers are back online so I don't keep hitting submit ;) Posting here so I can check the box to receive an email when someone responds to this post. Thanks for all you do admins!!

Every show you submit goes to a different server, so it's not like everything is down at the moment. Best advice we can give is to check the item history - if the server number is highlighted in yellow, it's still read-only.

Like some others, I'm stuck at the check-in phase, doesn't get to the irst "details" screen where I can select the band, so the History page is a couple of screens away...
What do we do? just hit F5 on the check-in page once in a while, and eventually it will go through?
