that's cool and all but i've got others i can't change. basically i want by-sa 3.0 on all of mine. every time i do it:

No changes to _meta.xml
No change to derivation rules.

so you can fix them all but there will still be the future ones.

true. i'll need to investigate further. i was not able to duplicate the problem and at this time you are the only person i'm aware of that is having this issue. did you try other browsers?

firefox fixed it. turns out chrome/chromium have problems with it. i see now the difference. whereas before the "choose a license or donate to the public domain" would be replaced with "remove" now it's "Atribution-Share Alike 3.0 remove." so it's as if in the transition between the popup data suggesting a license is transferred, but not the actual license data. hope that helps.
