Can you remember anything at all about it? IMDb doesn't have anything under the title "Triumphal Entry," nor anything close that would have been out before 1969. Was it in English? Were the accents British or American?

And are you certain it was in black and white, or is it possible you were just watching on a black-and-white TV? Color sets weren't a given at that time.

I wish I could add more. It *might* have been a color film which I watched on a b/w TV. It was in English; don't recall accents. I am pretty sure it was in 1969.

That film brought tears to my eyes.
