Films of this genre would be in the Feature Films section. However, you won't find them here unless the copyrights have lapsed or the owners have given explicit permission.

thanks for steering me in the right direction but how do i get there from the above drop down menus? or should i be trying a different way of searching? i wouldn't mind seeing what other musicals are available here but not having any luck

If you have a specific title, search "moving images." You can also browse the feature films at

A couple you might find interesting are Royal Wedding, with Fred Astaire's famous dancing-on-the-walls scene, and Rhythm and Blues Revue, a special performance by some of the great R&B and jazz musicians of yore.
