That's not a very typical setup. I'll pass your concerns along but I hope you understand that we can't necessarily implement something that will work with all browsers, all operating systems and on all devices.

Of course, I understand. However, is there any way you might be able to leave the option to revert to the old player in place, for those of us using non-standard systems? There are currently 13,079 users registered with elementaryos.org - that's a pretty good slice of humanity, and it's my guess that each of those 13,079 people will be experiencing issues with the new player.
