Well not to take sides (I'm personally a Democrat), just saying on this particular issue, a few Democrats in southern California helped sponsor the bill, because they were brought into office with the support of Hollywood businesses, but most Democrats, including Obama, do not support the bill, while many Republicans support the bill. It's not a black and white Dem/Rep, it's moneyed special interests vs. common people.

Obama veto'd it right? I can't imagine he would flip-flop on the issue. I think (so far) that Ron Paul gets my vote
