what exactly is the identifier you chose? there cannot be any spaces or special characters, only alphanumeric characters, dashes and/or underscores.

The band abbreviation is sci.
The concert date is 2011-12-04.
The rest of identifier- At the recommendation of greenone, I left it blank.
Then I tried using 'mezzanine'.
Still says 'please wait for identifier assignment to finish'.

that identifier is already taken
http://www.archive.org/details/sci2011-12-04i'd suggest you quit, start over, choose an identifier that is unique and see what happens.

Well, this was my second attempt.
At what time is it best to fill out the indentifier? First, after the music is UL'ed, or does it matter? Ditto for the Archive specific option.

it shouldn't matter. maybe wait until the upload finishes, key in an identifier, click outside the identifier field and let it search.

...so third attempt: I filled out the indentifier first. Figuring if it didn't work, no time wasted. The identifier I chose came up (sci2011-12-04.mezzanine)as available. I thought it would work if that part of it came up. UL'ed all the files again. Go to share files- same thing- "wait for identifier to finish assignment".
UGHH.
I swear I am cursed when it comes to LMA.
So I guess I am going to give up. It's a shame too, because this was recorded from a different location from the other sources, and sounds great. If anyone wants cds, let's kick it old school.

Mike - sorry, missed the continuation of this thread. You should fill out the identifier as late as possible in the game. I don't even touch the fields until all of the files are uploaded, because the few times I've had identifier issues have been the times I've filled out the fields, realized that I forgot a few files, added them, then tried to submit. More often than not, the system chokes on that and just hangs there - I think the process times out and the uploader doesn't know what to do, so it spins and spins.
If you're spooked off this for good, I'd be glad to upload anything for you you want. Drop me a line on ts.com and we can talk - I can either hop on your torrents or I can dust off my private FTP for you...

Hey Dave- I really appreciate your assistance. I am UL'ing the show to Dropbox, and someone is going to take it from there.
I looked into Traders Little Helper to make things easier; we'll see if it does the trick.
